How to make PhotoShop actions to make shadows

So lets start making this Photoshop action.

  1. Make a shape layer that you want to make a shadow for.
  2. First, make sure you have a layer selected.
  3. Click make new action.
  4. Make sure set a function key.
  5. Click the layer>duplicate layer.
  6. Change the background color to black.
  7. Click Layer>Rasterize>Rasterize Shape Layer.
  8. Click Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur (5.9%)
  9. Click Layer>Arrange>Send Backward.

There you go. I walk you through the process in the video.
