How to install WordPress on WAMP

*Set the video to HD for best viewing experience.

So now we are doing a video how to install WordPress on WAMP

1. Download WordPress @ WordPress.org

2. Left click WAMP server in your taskbar and go to local host and then click phpMyAdmin

3. Click Databases

4. Put desired db name right below where it says Create Database

5. Click create

6. Click My Computer>C Drive>wamp>www

7. With in the www folder create the folder you want your wordpress installation to be in

8. Extract WordPress in to the directory you made

9. Left click WAMP server in your taskbar and go to local host and where it says Your Projects you will now see the folder you made and click on it

10. Click create config

11. Click let’s go

12. Type in your database you just made

13. Type in your username and password that you made when setting up your mysql username and password

14. Leave db host localhost and leave table prefix the same

15. Click submit

16. Click run the install

17. Put the name of your blog in Site Title

18. Put the desired username you would like to log in to wordpress as well as the password

19. put your email

20. Search engines can’t index your local machine so having that checked makes no difference

21. Click install WordPress

success
